How Did I Find This Path?
I earned my degree in Cardiovascular Technology and Cardiopulmonary Sciences. Over the years, I’ve worked with many children and babies in the pediatric cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab. In that time I have also been able to help families, from all walks of life, navigate nutritional care with breastmilk for their little ones.
Although I had experience helping other families, my personal mom experience has transformed the way I help others. #Baby #MumMum
I faced my own physical and emotional challenges surrounding breastfeeding, milk production, and expectations from society. That whole new parent overwhelm to say the least was definitely present. It became quite apparent that there is a lack of available resources and support for families in the realm of human milk.
My desire to educate myself, to help friends and family navigate their breastfeeding experiences, turned into thank you cards encouraging me to do more and help more families.
